I don't like fishing in lakes too much, I never really catch much of anything big. I have a pond on my land and It has 3-10 pound channel catfish, 1-2 pound bass, and small bluegill, and a few goggle eyes.
I usually only use worms in my pond, because nothing else works there, I also have 20 6-8 inch largemouth bass in the pond.

I have better luck for large fish in lakes than ponds. I also have a pond on my land that I fish when the weather is too bad to go to the lake. A large fish of any kind is worth the effort even if you don't eat them no matter where they come form! Good fishing!

yah, for me, as long as I'm catching good fighting fish, I'm happy, if I'm catching small bluegill on every cast I do, and that's all, I'm moving, I wan't to catch big fish, I went catfishing on my pond yesterday with my cousin, we both caught a small 15 inch catfish, but, it was fun.

Either there are no fish left in the state of Missouri or it's residents aren't posting on this site> . Come on Folks, lets here from you! The more members the better, sound off about anything related to fishing and tell it like it is. Or just share some thoughts about fishing in general. Just do it!
