Pomme de Terre is a largely undeveloped 9k lake known for its bass crappie and muskie. It is, questionably, the best bass lake in Missouri. About 13 miles in length on the longer Pomme arm, it has four marinas and several state parks. As fishing lakes go, I consider it the best in the state.

yah, I'm probably going to be going to the lake on monday, my cousing is comming to visit from California and I'm taking him there. Hopefully this time, the water will be cooler, you will almost never catch anything when the water is in the 80's, the best fishing time is when the fishing is about 75 degrees.
I know that when I went last time, I would wake up at 5:50 AM to go fishing, I would get back to camp about 9:00 Pm and I didn't catch much of anything, it's because the water was too hot, and the fish weren't biting as well, I forgot that fish go deeper when the water is hot, but I hope it'll be cooler this time.
Hey, you need to go the cove #2 of the Damsite camping area, right about halfway into the cove, there is a huge stump field, I'm sure it will hold a lot of bass, and if you use plasic worms, you will be able to get them really easilly, try it out and see what you get.
